What We Do
At Catherine's our objective is to support and/or establish and operate orphanages and charitable organizations for the care, well being of children; to establish and operate charitable events for fund raising purposes, to raise funds to use to restore the lives of suffering children and assisting other children's charitable organizations in fulfilling their visions; to provide a refuge for mothers and their minor children; to provide or fund education for the parents of children for home and provide financial assistance to non -profit organizations who support orphan children or children at risk.
In November of 2005, Catherine's set up it's first Non-Profit Organization in Mexico, Casa Hogar de Catherine's A.C., and we are currently in the process of setting up a special needs children's facility to take care of and improve the quality of life for children suffering from neurological conditions and disabilities such as Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalic disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Traumatic Injury rehabilitation. The special needs children's facility will implement a doctor-directed treatment plan for each individual child which may include a nutrition and medicine plan, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and communication therapy. We will also be sponsoring family care training so that the parents of special needs children can develop the skills to take care of their own children.
Catherine's currently provides financial aid to four different locations in Baja, Mexico (three orphanages and one feeding ministry to the poor). We are in the process of opening our first facility for special needs children in Rosarito, Mexico (Casa Hogar de Catherine's A.C.). In addition, there are plans to build a second larger facility to care for and house these children. Catherine's is working closely with DIF (Mexican Department of Family Services) who have indicated that the plight of special needs children in Baja is a dire issue. With your financial support and continued prayer we can help the very neediest of God's children.
