  • Oct 2013      Purchased new washing machine
  • Nov 2013     Alex’s Heart surgery
  •                       Put a new roof on  Ariceli’s house
  •                       Built new house for Rosa (through BCM)
  •                       Repaired Teo’s house
  • Dec 2013      Welcomed Ana Karen
  •                        Enrolled and paid  Assistant Nurse course for Sebastiana
  • Jan 2014      Purchased the Orphanage Property from Calvary Chapel Montebello
  •                        Added video surveillance and alarm system
  •                        Bought uniforms for all caregivers
  •                        Installed new security lighting
  • Feb 2014      Added Infirmary
  •                        Welcomed Samuel and  Naomi reaching a total of 11 kids!
  •                        Hosted a Volunteer Luncheon to honor Volunteers
  • Mar 2014    Gutted out all the electrical system and replaced with new wiring / electrical panel / outlets / etc.
  •                       Insured the property against Fire and Earthquake
  •                       Trained caregivers to be first responders (with the Red Cross of Rosarito)
  •                       Bought new computer, upgraded IT  and phones
  • Apr 2014     Started a School program for K-1 through 4 and built 2 classrooms
  •                       Bought new flooring to replace 2nd floor playroom/kids bedrooms/classrooms
  •                       Installed a full heating and A/C system on the first and second floors
  •                       Rented the house next door for 5 years (future school for our kids and neighboring kids)
  •                       Bought new industrial kitchen hood
  •                       Child proofed the facility by adding fences over all second floor windows
  •                       Installed glass shatter proof film on all windows throughout the facility
  •                       Installed new gas pipes (about 1/3 of total piping)
  •                       Installed protection barrier around new LP gas tank
  • May 2014    We started our first ever “Mother’s Day” fundraising campaign
  •                       We now send out letters in Spanish to our friends in Mexico
  •                       Purchased and installed (thanks to Steve Zeis) a new kitchen hood.
  •                       Fixed our commercial refrigerator with a month’s food storage capacity
  •                       Added 3 night vision video/security cameras.
  •                       Installed a video/doorbell. We can now see who is at the door!
